Call for Writers: Dungeons & Dragons Anthology Series

ORDO Anthology – Writer Submission Checklist

This checklist is designed to ensure consistency across all submissions for the anthology. Please review carefully before sending in your story.

Story Parameters

Theme & Setting:

Must feature or tie into the ORDO, the secretive planar guild.

Stories can be set in Planescape, Spelljammer, or across the multiverse.

Tone can be epic, eerie, experimental, or conspiratorial — but always D&D inspired.

Length:

5,000 – 7,000 words per short story.

Originality:

No direct use of existing Wizards of the Coast storylines or characters.

You may draw from official D&D settings, but the focus must remain on your own original characters and plots.

Audience:

Written for adult fantasy readers — not YA. Aim for mature, accessible, and immersive prose.
